Woodwrights can deliver to any town in New Zealand. Our furniture is well packed and all tops are wrapped in tuffwrap (export grade packaging) to provide maximum protection.

All orders being delivered to standard residential addresses throughout New Zealand have a delivery charge starting from $149. The following terms apply:

  • City and provincial deliveries only. Rural deliveries will incur additional delivery charges and are priced at the time of order.
  • You will need to arrange an extra person to help the driver unload at time of delivery if you are unable to lift heavy items yourself (being a line-haul driver, they will be on their own).
  • Delivery is to your door and does not allow for any assembly time, or packaging removal should there be any.


The delivery process

Upon confirming an order with Woodwrights, you will be given an estimated delivery date, which will be confirmed by our customer service team at the time your furniture is dispatched from the factory. We usually allow 8-12 days from dispatch to delivery to your door.

Should the projected delivery date not work for you, we will work with the carriers to arrange a time that does suit. The driver will contact you (on the contact number provided by you) prior to delivery to confirm this. 

Please note we cannot give an expected delivery time to your door as line-haul freight is subject to a number of variables.

Very important: When you receive the furniture, please check it all to ensure it is not damaged in any way before signing the delivery receipt. It is important you do this while the carrier is still present if possible.

Online Payment


Secure online payment

Every time Woodwrights collects your personal information (such as your delivery / billing address, contact details and so on), a secure connection via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology is established with your web browser to ensure that your details are encrypted and securely communicated to us, safe from prying eyes or malicious threats. Comprehensive security measures and access controls are in place to protect customer information collected and stored on our servers and systems, and ensure that these details are only accessible by authorised personnel for authorised reasons.

These security measures are routinely tested and validated by independent security companies in order to provide the highest levels of security to protect customer information. Payment methods

Credit Card

We accept VISA, VISA Debit Cards, Mastercard, American Express as forms of credit card payment.

Secure Credit Card Payment

Woodwrights has engaged a globally accredited payment gateway service provider, Payment Express, to secure all aspects involving customer payment via credit cards.

All customer credit card information is securely submitted and processed entirely on specialised Payment Express systems; Woodwrights staff cannot access, view, process or store sensitive cardholder data (such as credit card numbers, PIN codes or CCV codes). Credit card details are encrypted by the customer’s browser before they are sent to Payment Express systems, and are never exposed in clear-text.

Payment Express is globally certified to meet the regulatory security requirements outlined by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (or PCIDSS). PCIDSS certification is required by banks and credit card issuers in order to allow merchants such as Woodwrights to accept payments from customer credit cards. As part of the certification process, Payment Express is required by Woodwrights, banks and credit card issuers to implement stringent security controls and undertake regular independent security audits to maintain its certification and security assurance levels.

Bank Transfer

You can make an online payment directly from your bank account via our website, using Payment Express Account2Account (A2A) payment. A2A is alternative payment method for customers who don't have, or don't use a credit card.

Banks that support A2A transactions include: ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac Kiwibank & TSB.

Lifetime Guarantee

All Woodwrights New Zealand made solid timber furniture carries a Lifetime Guarantee and all European Artisan furniture carries their two year guarantee. 

In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your furniture, please contact us immediately by phone on 0800 53 00 35 or email

  • Your claim will be assessed by our in-house quality team. Images may be required to evaluate the claim.
  • Woodwrights will arrange for repair of the faulty product either by an approved contractor on or off site or at our factory.
  • Written authorisation from our Customer Service department must accompany any goods which are returned.


  • The guarantees protect against any material or construction fault, excluding misuse, negligence, alteration, accident and normal wear.
  • Fabrics and coverings are not included in this guarantee. These warranties are supplier by their respective fabric houses.
  • Upholstered sofas, chairs, headboards and ottomans are not included in this guarantee. These products have a 15 year guarantee on their structure and a 10 year guarantee on foam. Feather and fibre guarantees are supplied by the feather and fibre house.
  • All claims must be made to the original supplier (Woodwrights or Woodwrights' on-seller) where proof of purchase will be required.
  • The guarantees apply to the original purchaser only and do not apply to commercial applications.
  • For products being returned to Woodwrights for repair, Woodwrights will cover return freight costs from the customer to the factory. Where the problem is not a manufacturing fault, Woodwrights will not be responsible for freight costs.
  • Woodwrights reserve the right to replace the product if repair is not possible. 

Please note:

  • Our guarantee does not apply to any custom-made furniture, so please check all details carefully when ordering.
  • The refund applies to the original purchase price of the furniture excluding the freight cost. 
  • Returns are credited in the manner in which they were originally paid. Telebanking and Eftpos orders will be refunded by way of a refund cheque or telebanking.

Manage Your Account


Registering on the site
You can register before or during the shopping cart process. If you are new to the site, you can create an account using the link at the top of the page. We will ask you for some simple information (no credit card required at this stage) and also ask you whether you would like to subscribe to our regular updates and promotional emails.

Updating your details
Once you have created an account with us, you can sign in and change your details at any time. Simply sign into the site and click the user name link at the top of the page. You'll be taken to the 'My Details' page where you can update your profile, review current and past orders and manage your subscriptions.

Email Subscriptions
We will only send you promotional emails if you have subscribed to our updates. You can manage your subscription status at any time in the 'My Details' area. There will also be an unsubscribe link in any email sent where you can easily manage the information we send to you.

Reviewing Orders
Whilst shopping with us you can review what's in your shopping cart at any time. Simply click on the shopping cart icon at the top of the page and you can view what you have added. You can also view current and past orders in your account.

Personal Information Policy
Your personal privacy is important to us. We retain your personal profile information to facilitate ease of use throughout this website. All information is held and saved according to the provisions of the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993 (“Privacy Act”). You should not share your login details with anyone and must keep this information secure. Woodwrights does not retain any of your credit card details used in transactions made on this website.
