When you invest in handcrafted New Zealand made solid timber furniture from Woodwrights, you receive a lifetime guarantee. When you invest in European handcrafted Artisan furniture through Woodwrights, we pass on Artisan's two year guarantee.

These warranties reinforce our faith in the quality of our furniture and offers you peace of mind in your investment. See conditions below. 

The Process

All New Zealand handcrafted solid timber Woodwrights furniture carries a lifetime guarantee and all European made Artisan furniture carries a two year guarantee. These guarantees protect against any material or construction fault, excluding misuse and normal wear.

The process for making a claim is as follows:

  1. Your claim will be assessed by our in-house quality team. Please note that images may be required to evaluate the claim.
  2. Woodwrights will arrange for repair of the faulty product either by an approved contractor on or off site or at our factory.
  3. Written authorisation from our Customer Service department must accompany any goods which are returned.

Conditions

  • The guarantees protect against any material or construction fault, excluding misuse, negligence, alteration, accident and normal wear.
  • Fabrics and coverings are not included in this guarantee. These warranties are supplied by their respective fabric houses. 
  • Upholstered sofas, chairs, headboards and ottomans are not included in this guarantee. These products have a 15 year guarantee on their structure and 10 year guarantee on foam. Feather and fibre guarantees are supplied by the feather and fibre house.  
  • All claims must be made to the original supplier (Woodwrights or Woodwrights' on-seller) where proof of purchase will be required. 
  • The guarantees apply to the original purchaser only and do not apply to commercial applications.
  • For products being returned to Woodwrights for repair, Woodwrights will cover return freight costs from the customer to the factory. Where the problem is not a manufacturing fault, Woodwrights will not be responsible for freight costs.
  • Woodwrights reserve the right to replace the product if repair is not possible.
